2023 Scheduling and Fees

To ensure my schedule is open for those who most need it, want it, and are proactive about using it, please follow these processes.

First, please default to sessions on specific day/time Slots, instead of varying times and days. Second, please do the best you can to schedule for as much as 4-month Blocks of time (or longer).

I understand that may not be possible for everyone or all the time. Please follow this as closely as possible. For those who truly can’t make appointments in advance or on the same day/time, you will still be able to schedule in the same way as always (see details below).

1. Decide the number of sessions per month you plan to use for the coming Block:

Block 1 = Jan to Apr

Block 2 = May to Aug

Block 3 = Sep to Dec

2. Decide which day and time Slot will work for you.

Examples:

First Tue of the month, 11-1 for Block 1

Every Monday at 9 for Jan and Feb, Every other Monday at 9 for Mar and Apr

First and Third Thursdays 2-4 for all of 2023

3. Schedule your requested Slot:

a. www.paulbirch.info, Schedule Mtg button, login to your portal.

b. Schedule your preferred time/day slot, the frequency (weekly, every other, or monthly).

c. I encourage you to stay scheduled for as much of the current Block as you can. At the least stay scheduled for the following month by the 15th of the prior month.

d. You may schedule on your own as far out as 6 months at any given time; email erica@wellmarriagecenter.com if you'd like to schedule out for longer.

e. The more closely you follow the Slots and Blocks approach the more likely you will be to get what works for you. But I anticipate some flexibility; don’t be stressed about it, just try. If you switch times one week, change slots from one month to the next, or only schedule a month at a time, it will be less open, but you should still get more or less what you need. Significantly underdoing this process, however, will make it difficult for you to get what you need.

4. If you are looking to schedule an Immersive rather than routine sessions, you need to contact me directly, as these are not available through the portal. See details at www.paulbirch.info/immersives.

5. Finer Points about the process:

· Scheduling is a “first come, first serve” process. But if you have an urgent need, contact me directly.

· Flexibility: If your schedule truly doesn’t permit picking a Slot, pick one that may work some/most of the time, and submit other times as well that work. I cannot assure you that it will always be easy or possible to find what you need, but I will do my best to accommodate you.

· Partial Blocks: If you anticipate you may stop coming or want to reduce sessions sometime during a Block, that’s fine; schedule what you want for the Block as if you were going to keep that Slot all the way through. Then each month, we’ll discuss the coming month’s frequency and cancel as we go.

· When you are finished coming to regular sessions, all subsequent sessions are automatically cancelled; no obligation to finish unused sessions.

· Evening Slots (5p or later) are very hard to come by. I may need to rotate who is given first choice on those Slots in case there are many who need them.

2023 Fees:

If you started with me in 2022 or earlier and you have not gone more than 12 months without a session, the following applies:
- Your rates will stay at their current rate until Jan 1, 2024, when they’ll change to whatever is operative at that time.
- Your rate is the same whether you follow the Slot/Block Scheduling or not.

2023 and Forward, or you have not seen me for 12 or more months: $250 per 50m session. You will pick from one of these Scheduling Practices options:
- Slot/Block Scheduling: Schedule at least one session for the same day and time for at least 3 months at a time OR
- Purchase 8h Pass to be used whenever you schedule ($2000).
- Sign up for a 12mo Subscription. Includes 12 hours of session time, 1 Challenge Course, and Monthly Climbing Channel Webinar/Q&A ($2700*).

* Priced separately, this would be $4100...Yes! To be transparent so this is clear it isn't a gimmick to get you to buy more by inflating the value, I am pricing this so that you get more for less to encourage those who want long-term support. I want to incentivize it because it works better than just doing a bunch of sessions and stopping. Rather, my experience is that stretching out the total number of sessions across a longer time span is significantly more effective. I'd rather see you 12 times in 4 months, then 12 more times in the coming 12 months instead of 24 times in 24 weeks. I want to incentivize this pattern because it works better for your marriage. Even if you don't use the extra services and only use the 12 sessions, I am willing to reduce fee a bit to encourage this. It also incentivizes me to work hard to keep creating cost-effective tools for you, which benefits you by having more tools for cheap. This in turn ends up paying me back for this discount when you sign up, which means I have more passive income which allows me to spend more time developing more tools, and be sure that I have a stable, sufficient income so that I can further keep doing all this...So this is a deal designed to be good for both of us!
